What Is Rapid-Cure Carbon Fiber Prepreg?
Rapid-cure prepreg is formulated with a fast-curing epoxy resin system that cures in roughly 10 minutes and can be moulded at relatively low temperature (>80°C). It enables short press cycles and high-volume production of carbon fiber parts without sacrificing surface quality or final mechanical performance. Where an extra post-cure is applied, Tg can be raised to 125°C.

Key Properties
Rapid cure. Cure in about 10 minutes by blow moulding or compression moulding.
Low-temperature forming. Vacuum-bag low-temperature cure suitable for large structures.
High Tg option. Post-cure raises Tg to 125°C.
Good tack & drape. Stable handling at room temperature with consistent resin flow.
Not for autoclave or tube rolling. This system is optimised for press / blow / vacuum-bag moulding.
Typical Applications
Bicycle components. Frames, rims and parts needing fast cycle times.
Protective goods. Helmets and impact-resistant shells.
Shoe soles. Carbon reinforced soles and plates.
Marine & wind. Kayaks, small craft and large structures cured by vacuum bag at low temperature.
Industrial parts. High-rate production of structural and semi-structural components.
Storage & Handling
Store at −18°C or below in sealed packaging; shelf life up to 12 months.
Resin can be stored at room temperature for up to 4 weeks in sealed containers.
Keep working area at 23±2°C and relative humidity ≤65%.
Packaging & Delivery
Every rapid-cure carbon fiber prepreg roll is packaged in moisture-barrier PE film with desiccant and shipped in sealed, humidity-indicating cartons, protecting the prepreg from moisture and mechanical damage during storage and transport.
