What Is Medium-Temperature Cure Carbon Fiber Prepreg?
Medium-temperature cure prepreg is cured in the 120–150°C window, balancing good final performance with moderate energy consumption and shorter cycle times. JiLin Tangu offers standard, high-appearance and toughened resin variants in this class, with post-cure Tg typically ≥110°C and up to ≥150°C.
Representative Medium-Temperature Models

Key Properties
Cure range. 120–150°C, suitable for press, vacuum bag, autoclave and roll wrapping.
Toughened systems. High toughness and fatigue resistance for dynamic applications (frames, wheels).
High-appearance option. Clear, white-spot-free resin for automotive exterior parts.
Strong mechanics. UD systems reach 0° tensile ≥2,300 MPa and modulus ≥130 GPa; fabric systems ≥650 MPa warp/weft.
Good shop life. 25–28 days at 25°C / ≤65% RH; 365 days at −18°C.
Typical Applications
Low-altitude aircraft & UAV. Airframes, propeller blades and structural covers.
Cycling. Bicycle frames, rims and forks.
Sports tubes. Fishing rods, golf shafts, arrows and tripods.
Automotive. Exterior body panels and decorative structural parts.
Industrial. General structural laminates and roll-wrapped products.
Storage & Handling
Store at −18°C or below in sealed packaging; cumulative shelf life 365 days.
Thaw sealed rolls to room temperature (≥8 h) before opening to avoid condensation.
Keep working area at 23±2°C and relative humidity ≤65%.
Packaging & Delivery
Every medium-temperature carbon fiber prepreg roll is packaged in moisture-barrier PE film with desiccant and shipped in sealed, humidity-indicating cartons, protecting the prepreg from moisture and mechanical damage during storage and transport.
