Carbon Fiber 50K Tow Overview
50K carbon fiber tow (50,000 monofilaments per tow) is the heaviest commercial carbon fiber grade. It provides the maximum fiber volume per ply and the lowest cost per kg of fiber, making it the top choice for very large wind turbine blade main structures and ultra-large industrial composite parts.

GX400-50K Carbon Fiber Tow — Wet-Spun | JiLin Tangu
GX400-50K wet-spun PAN-based carbon fiber tow — general-purpose wet-spun grade
Tensile strength 4,000–4,500 MPa · Modulus ≥235 GPa
Low density 1.77±0.03 g/cm³ · soft handle & excellent resin wettability
For prepreg, vacuum infusion (VARTM), and composite reinforcement
Carbon fiber is a continuous filament with excellent mechanical properties, low density, heat and corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, a small thermal expansion coefficient, and good electrical and thermal conductivity — properties that translate directly into lighter, stronger, and more durable composite parts.

GX500-50K Carbon Fiber Tow — High-Strength Wet-Spun | JiLin Tangu
GX500-50K wet-spun PAN-based carbon fiber tow — high-strength wet-spun grade
Tensile strength 4,500–4,900 MPa · Modulus ≥235 GPa
Low density 1.77±0.03 g/cm³ · soft handle & excellent resin wettability
For prepreg, vacuum infusion (VARTM), and composite reinforcement
As a continuous PAN-based reinforcement, GX500 carbon fiber offers low density, outstanding heat and corrosion resistance, superior fatigue endurance, minimal thermal expansion, and excellent electrical/thermal conductivity — combined here with a higher tensile strength grade for demanding structural applications.
